Was video chatting Kristy (and her brother) at midnight when Christmas began!
Consumed way too many cinnamon Rolls + raspberries with breakfast. :)
Participated in a six-hour unwrapping marathon with London, Brooke, Mother, Father, Sam, Emma, Abby, Aunt Kate, Uncle Charlie, Grandma, Grandfather, and the cousins’ other Grandmother. xD
"And I got you a necklace!"
Classy shirts, cologne, books, bookmarks, headphones, candy, music, money, food, cards, movies.. I love my family. :)
Grandmother knitted me a blanket in my university’s colours. Could very well be my favourite present. <3 Love you, Grandma!
Felt miserable because of my cousins’ hyperallergenic cats, (yeah, I made that word up), and as a result, ended up being unable to spend more than five or ten minutes at a time in the family room with everybody else because the cats so infested everything in there. :\
Combination of exhaustion, allergies, and medication caused me to fall asleep randomly from six till ten.
Texts from Ryan, Angel, and Arya. ^_^
Talked to a lot of friends. I hope everybody had a great day! (Nick, finish your college essays already!)
So my Aunt gave me a gift she acquired in Monte Carlo this summer. If you don’t know what that is, it’s essentially like Vegas or Macau, but located in Italy. A very high end gambling town. Lots of nice cars and casinos. ^_^
Anyway the gift was like three classy black poker chips stuck together, and they said “Monte Carlo” on them. Pretty standard fare, pretty cool. Looked classy. As I examined it, though, I noticed the top could be twisted somewhat, and that there was a small little hole in the side. I thought that maybe it could opened, so I asked my Aunt about it. She didn’t know that it was necessarily anything besides a decorative souvenir, but at that point my father and uncle chimed it, voicing their opinions about it. Among them, “Oh no, I think it dispenses mints. If you twist the top, maybe mints come out of the little hole?” I’d seen stuff like that before so I thought that idea was plausible enough, and gave it a shot.. Hand over the hole to catch the “mint,” twisted the top..
Blasted thing was a lighter. And I twisted the top enough to ignite it.
Ever started a lighter with your hand over the flame? Don’t.
